The Info You Need
Welcome! Here at a Place of Peace, we strive to make your ceremony as special as we can at a discounted rate! We have done weddings and vow Renewals since March 2018, with many successful and wonderful ceremonies, all from different religious and secular backgrounds! We offer different forms of the ceremony from simple to more personal to even hand written ceremonies!
How it works: we schedule a meeting at a library or other applicable public place, and we meet and discuss everything about the ceremony including cost, types of ceremony, Colors, and even vestmentry and clergy outfit. A nonrefundable deposit of $20 for the cost of labor and paperwork is due during consultation and paperwork must be signed before or by two weeks before ceremony.
How Costs Work: We base our costs on the amount of work put into the ceremony, the distance of travel from the city Mentor to location of ceremony, and costs of labor,costs of other things such as flowers and decor vary and may add to total cost.
Refunds: we discuss the refund process during the signing of contracts or during initial consultation.

The Rev. Michael L Brown Jr. , Curator
Reverend Michael started a Place of Peace as a facebook page, just before his ordination in June, 2018. He has performed multiple Marriages, vow renewals, and even baptisms! Michael is ordained through the Universal Life Church, and is licensed in the state of Ohio.
Rev. David Snyder, Assistant Director
Reverend David Snyder began work towards Place of Peace in 2017, when still a facebook page. He was ordained to diaconate Pentecost, 2017, then recently was ordained to minister by Universal Life Church in spring, 2018. David has assisted in all aspects of worship and marriage formations.
